Global Health and the Burning of Biomass Fuels

Please join us for this year’s Global Health Week keynote address, “Indoor Burning of Biomass Fuels: Impact on Global Health & Climate” by William J. Martin II, MD.

Dr. Martin is Dean and Professor of Environmental Health Sciences at the Ohio State University College of Public Health.

The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion of the interactions between health, climate, and the environment, featuring:

  • Sola Olopade, MD, MPH, Professor of Medicine and Clinical Director, Center for Global Health.
  • Aaron Bernstein, MD, MPH, Program Director, Climate, Energy, and Health at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Sarah Nolan, Director of International Communications, Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement, will serve as discussion moderator.
