2009 Summer Teacher Institute:
"Understanding the Global Economy: Bringing the World Market into the your Classroom"

This June 22-24, the Center for International Studies presented a three-day institute on the Global Economy, in conjunction with the University of Chicago East Asian, Southern Asian, Latin American, East European and Russian Eurasian, and Middle Eastern Area Studies Centers. The goal of the institute was to provide teachers with the tools to successfully teach issues pertaining to the Global Economy, specifically: Markets, Trade and Globalization, Impacts of Globalization, and The Current Global Financial Crisis.
