Summer Institutes
The Center for International Studies’ Summer Institutes are intended primarily for elementary through community college educators but open to all interested parties. These four-day workshops explore various comparative and transnational issues each summer and are co-sponsored by the Centers for East Asian Studies, East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies, International Studies, Latin American Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, the South Asia Language and Area Center, the Human Rights Program, the University of Illinois Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and the Graham School of General Studies.
